Under the supervision of the Chief, Knowledge Services Unit, the incumbent is responsible for the following tasks:
- Sorts, registers and files documents and publications received on a daily basis;
- Shelves new books, serial issues and documents received by the Library within one working day; re-shelves returned loan requests;
- Assists in the management and development of the UNHCR collection, both in print and online;
- Participates in the management of the Library stacks, in the annual inventory of collections and special stacks maintenance and reorganization projects;
- Provides documents delivery to UNHCR staff and other Library clients;
- Keeps daily work statistics.
